0XE800801A .mobileprovision error occurs in itunes when you try to import a mobile provision file that was sent/received through an exchange server.

Solution- Have the iphone developer zip the original .mobileprovision file and resend it to you. When you try importing it again it will work.

Exchange server corrupts the mobile provision file and if you look at the two files you can see a major difference in size.
