Avira Exchange Review
Installation- was pretty easy, only issue I had was where to put the license key. Avira support was quick and helpful.
Support- Avira’s email support is usually pretty helpful and quick to reply. They usually solve my problem the first time they reply.
Anti Spam- This feature needs improvement. It lets spam through and blocks false positives. It’s based on word lists which need tweaking. It is somewhat helpful but using a Real Time Blacklist would work better. They should team up with someone like Spam Haus to provide RBL.
Email Viruses- This is probably the main reason for installing avira exchange. It works pretty well.

Accidentally Delete a mailbox? Need to restore? No Problem.
First Open up exchange management console, expand reciepeint configuration and click on disconnected mailboxes. Then right click on the mail box you want to restore and click connect. Then connect it to a user.
What if your mailbox is not in the disconnected mailboxs? You will need to open up Exchange management shell and paste in Clean-MailboxDatabase “Mailbox Database” This will scan your database for for disconnected mailboxes that are not yet marked as disconnected. It will only search the database of the server you are currently on if you don’t specify other wise.
After you run that command close Exchange Console and restart it, your missing mailbox should appear in disconnected mailboxes.
If your database is not named Mailbox Database and you encounter an error simply paste Get-Mailboxdatabase into Exchange shell.

Exchange Active Sync Error:
The security certificate on the server is not valid. Contact your exchange server administrator or ISP to install a valid certificate on the server. Support code:80072f0d
Problem: The problem is that the certificate on the Exchange server has the wrong name. Maybe your server has an internal and an external name like webmail.contoso.com and server1.contoso.local.
Solution: You need a certificate that will support multiple names. Godaddy will sell you an SSL certificate that supports up to 5 names for under $100. If you need any help just leave a comment.
